The Brief

NW Group proudly deliver technical production for the World Science Festival in Brisbane, supporting its mission to make science accessible, inspiring and unforgettable.

In 2025, we were thrilled to return for the festival’s milestone 10th anniversary. Our role was to provide full-service production for a diverse and dynamic schedule of events. This included the prestigious Opening Gala at Queensland Museum, the high-energy debut of Arena Atomica, the ever-popular Robowars, insightful talks at the Queensland Museum Theatre and the captivating Unseen Worlds Installations, just to name a few.

Solution

To meet the demands of this large-scale festival, our team delivered tailored solutions across multiple venues and formats, ensuring each event ran smoothly and left a lasting impact.

The Opening Night Gala at the Queensland Museum required a polished professional delivery. Our expert team delivered world-class audio, video, lighting and staging, helping to set the tone for the entire festival. Inside the Queensland Museum Theatre, we managed audio, video, lighting and draping for a series of talks and panels, ensuring speakers could be seen and heard clearly.

One of the festival’s newest events, Arena Atomica, brought science and skateboarding together in a fast-paced, high-energy show. We provided audio, video and comms to keep everything connected and engaging. Our team also supported the action-packed Robowars competition, contributing technical production to help deliver the energy and excitement the crowd came for.

We also provided audio, lighting and staging for live performances at the Whale Mall Band Night and immersed audiences at Awe Experience with our video and projection.

Outcome

From intimate performances to high impact shows, each event was delivered with precision, creativity, and technical expertise. Contributing to a standout 10th anniversary Festival that left a lasting impression.
