The Brief
NW Group has proudly provided Fan Engagement Production and Corporate Network Events for Adelaide 36ers since 2022. Setting the stage for every moment from game-day hype to MVP honours.
Earlier this year we were engaged to deliver full-service production for this year’s prestigious MVP Honours, held at Adelaide Oval. Celebrating the NBL season highlights, the evening featured player awards and welcomed a new member into the club’s Hall of Fame.
Solution
Working closely with the client, we developed detailed technical drawings and concept plans, presenting two distinct options for consideration.
The final concept featured a custom circular projection screen, creating a hero feature on stage. To enhance visual impact, we installed lighting fixtures around the truss of the custom screen and on vertical truss uprights on stage.
We utilised the venue’s in-house projector screens on either side of the stage, adding Astera Titan Tubes along with LED uplights, creating added depth and dynamic colour throughout the space.
For audio, we deployed a comprehensive L-Acoustics system, including Syva, SB18m subwoofers, X8s and 12XTs, ensuring exceptional sound quality across the room.
The evening kicked off with an energetic performance from Adelaide 36ers cheer squad and hype crew, setting the tone for a high-energy event. The event also featured a special live vocal performance by Adelaide 36ers player, Issac Humpries, and wrapped up with a DJ set to close out of night on a high.
Outcome
The night was a huge success, with standout production that elevated the entire experience. From setup to execution, everything ran seamlessly, the atmosphere was electric and left a lasting impression on the client and guests alike.
