Adelaide Fashion Festival presented by Mercedes-Benz Adelaide & Unley

The Brief

To help the South Australian Tourism Commission create a high-end fashion festival in the Drill Hall of the Torrens Parade Ground. The aim was to highlight Adelaide’s dynamic creative industries against a backdrop of the city’s vibrant venues and fashion precincts. The Adelaide Fashion Festival (AFF) is bold, original, progressive and inspired.

Solution

We quoted to the brief specifications and then added a projection mapping element for the Drill Hall walls. Using the white walls as a canvas allowed us to draw attention to the showcase hub whilst creating a sense of excitement about the runway shows that were unfolding in the hall.

We needed to ensure we were collaborating with the SATC team to ensure that the vision they had for the event came to life.

Outcome

With nine runway events over four days along with the hub and other ancillary events, the logistics and organisation of the event were key. NW Group collaborated with specialists from around Australia to produce the AV for the event, the end result was fabulous. Feedback from the event was extremely positive with a very happy client. Describing the event as “outstanding”. This was the first time we have worked with the SATC but the partnership is very strong and they believe that it will not be the last.
